Support Danielle's Family: Make Their Home Safe Again

Hello! My name is Danielle Grassel and I am raising funds to protect my family and ensure their house is a safe place to live. On December 4, 2024, a fire broke out in the attic of my mom's house. This is fire #5 that we know of. It is an older house and is wired with aluminum wiring, which is what causes these fires to continue breaking out. My family, including my parents, sister, and their 5 dogs are having to move out while repairs are done. This comes 5 days before my mom's birthday and 21 days before Christmas. To make matters worse, insurance has denied covering the task of rewiring the house, and putting in copper wires. That would mean that after the basic repairs are done, my family would move back into a house that is still not safe for them. I am hoping to raise enough funds to help them have the house wiring replaced with copper wiring, so that the house is less likely to catch fire.
