My beautiful wife, Danielle, was diagnosed with Stage IV HER2-positive invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC), a form of breast cancer, towards the end of 2024. As many of you know, this is the most advanced stage — and while it’s an overwhelming and terrifying diagnosis, Danielle has been facing it with incredible courage, grace, and determination.
The road ahead involves intense chemotherapy, ongoing therapies, scans, medications, and doctor visits, all while managing the day-to-day reality of living with a serious illness. HER2-positive IDC cancer is not curable, but it is treatable, and is a battle that will require continuous treatments for the rest of her life.
On top of the emotional and physical toll, the financial burden has been stressful. Insurance only covers so much, and we are quickly realizing the costs add up — from co-pays and out-of-network specialists to travel for treatment, integrative therapies, and lost income from time off work.
We’re asking for help — however big or small — to allow Danielle to focus on healing and spending precious time with loved ones instead of worrying about bills and logistics. Your support will directly go toward:
- Medical expenses not covered by insurance
- Transportation to and from appointments
- Basic living costs during treatment
- Nutritional and holistic therapies to improve quality of life
If you can't donate, please consider sharing this page. Every bit of love, encouragement, and help matters more than you know.
Thank you for standing with Danielle and our family during the hardest fight of her life. We’re holding onto hope, faith, and the power of community.
With gratitude,
Rob Olson
