My beloved sister, Danielle Valladares, has been courageously battling Lyme disease — a complex and debilitating bacterial infection that has deeply affected her health and daily life. After years (over half her life) of symptoms, misdiagnoses, and chronic pain, recent extensive lab testing has revealed that my sister has a myriad of bacterial infections, viruses, parasites, mold, and erythromelalgia, including the diagnosis she received in April 2025 of late-stage Lyme disease.

Due to her Lyme disease being in late-stage, her immune system is severely compromised. As a result, typical antibiotic treatments that may work for others are not effective on Danielle. This has caused my sister constant pain and has made her unable to work, drive, or leave the house except for medical appointments. In the midst of the immense physical and emotional challenges she has faced and is currently facing with her health, Danielle is finally on the path to proper treatment. We are rallying our family, friends, and community to pray fervently for Danielle's full healing!

As you can imagine, the cost of care for Lyme disease is overwhelming and often not covered by insurance.
