Our beloved ballerina, Danielle Santos has been quietly and courageously battling rectal cancer since June 2024. Since then, she’s been working full time while undergoing both chemotherapy and radiation treatments. We’ve just learned that the cancer has spread to her liver via her bloodstream.

Surgery was the next step but the cancer needs to stop spreading first. The next treatment is more chemotherapy, which she started yesterday.

To focus solely on healing and spend more time with loved ones, Danielle is taking a leave of absence from her job.
