Help Danielle raise funds for Life extending treatment

Hi my names John, I am the husband of Danielle, back in September 2024 we were dealt with the devastating news that she had a very rare form of Neuroendocrine insulinoma cancer which had spread from the pancreas to the liver. This is something that is incurable but manageable.

She underwent a radiotherapy procedure SIRT to try and reduce the size of the tumours in the

liver so that she could have some tumours removed to stabalise her blood sugars.

On the last scan it showed that it was working and we thought we finally had some good news after constant bad news over and over again.

Further scans and biopsies have since taken place and it has now spread to the lymph nodes in 3 separate parts off the body which is a really aggressive small cell neuroendocrine cancer and we were told the prognosis is not good.

We have explored every option available under the NHS and the only thing available is Chemotherapy.

Danielle starts this on Friday 4th July and is understandably very worried as we have 3 young children and is trying to stay strong and positive but with limited options under the NHS we had to look privately at treatment.

We have found a clinic in Germany who carries out immunotherapy that is called Dentritic Cell therapy (immunotherapy).

What Is Dendritic Cell Immunotherapy?

This personalised therapy harnesses the power of my own immune system; Blood is drawn and carefully processed to create dendritic cells—special immune cells that are trained to recognise and attack cancer. Once reintroduced into my body, they help strengthen my immune response without the harsh side effects of traditional treatments. Giving it the tools to fight back in a targeted, intelligent way.

This works hand in hand with chemotherapy and has had great results but it comes with a cost . Every cycle costs around £35,000.

We have managed with help of family to raise the funds to get treatment started straight away on the 17th July but we don't know how many cycles Danielle will need and we are trying everything so that Danielle can be around for our children and watch them grow up for as long as possible.

We didn't want to do this but felt that we had no other option to try and raise some funds to help us pay for treatment.
