Support Danielle in her Fight Against Cancer

My name is Lea and I’ve created this gofundme for my sister-in-law, Danielle.

Danielle is a wife, the BEST mom, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother, and friend. Those of you lucky enough to know her, know that she is the first person to show up for others in times of need. It’s our turn, now, to show up for her!

On Monday, March 4th, Danielle was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (a type of breast cancer that starts in the milk ducts of the breast and moves into nearby tissue). While her prognosis is good, she has a long road to recovery as she will be undergoing a double mastectomy surgery in early April. She will likely have additional treatment, such as chemo, but won’t know the extent until post-surgery when her team of Oncologists have a more clear picture of her case.

Danielle prides herself in her job as a teacher but will likely be out of work for the remainder of the school year, and unable to take on the day to day tasks. We hope this fundraiser will alleviate the financial burden of medical bills, allow for cleaning services and meals, childcare coverage and activities for Haddie (to maintain some sort of normalcy), and help support Danielle, Ellen and Haddie on this journey.
