Our family is facing one of the hardest chapters of our lives. My wife, Daniela, is living with chronic kidney disease and lupus nephritis, conditions that have impacted nearly every part of her life—her health, her independence, and her ability to be present in the way she wants to be for our family. After years of treatments, medications, and hospital visits, she is now awaiting a life-saving kidney transplant and continues to require ongoing medical care, including dialysis.

Daniela is a devoted wife and an incredible mother to our three children. Watching her push through exhaustion, pain, and uncertainty while still putting our kids first has been both heartbreaking and inspiring. As she prepares for transplant surgery and recovery, she will be unable to work for an extended period of time.
