Hello Oakland Museum of California! Our beloved Daniel Ramirez is in need of our support!!! Late December of last year, Daniel had a stroke, has spent some time recovering in the hospital, and is doing much better. Daniel is a HUGE part of our community at the museum. He is one of our campus caretakers  on the Janitorial team, making sure that our galleries and facilities are well tended. He is always delighting OMCA with his contagious smile, kind hellos, and if you're lucky a hilarious joke from left field! As we all know healthcare is wildly expensive and systemically inaccessible. This gesture of financial aid would greatly help him. It would be a small dent into his medical bills, but the solidarity of our support is an invaluable act of love! Let us be reminded of our own strength in numbers, and feel free to reach out to generous friends and family. We can help Daniel!!!
