Dear Friends and Family,

On the morning of Saturday, January 25th, 2025, Daniel was rushed to the hospital after suddenly stopping breathing. The cause of this medical emergency is still unclear, but doctors and nurses are working tirelessly to determine the underlying issue. His oxygen levels were dangerously low, which led to him being airlifted to a hospital better equipped for the critical care he needed. Daniel is still in the CCU in critical condition, where he was initially placed in a medically induced coma. He underwent a tracheotomy procedure to help him breathe more easily, and although doctors have gradually removed the sedative, he has not fully woken up yet. They are managing his recovery with a combination of medications and a mild sedative as they continue to monitor his progress closely.

At this time, the road to recovery is uncertain, and it is clear that this will be a long journey—more of a marathon than a sprint. Daniel will require ongoing medical treatment and possibly extended rehabilitation. Those of us who know Daniel understand what an incredible person he is: an amazing son, brother, and friend who would go to any length to help others. His strength, kindness, and ability to brighten anyone’s day are just a few of the reasons he is so loved.

This fundraiser is being launched to help cover the costs of Daniel's hospital stay, medical treatments, rehabilitation, and the financial strain his family is facing during this challenging time. We aim to raise enough to support Daniel's recovery and to help relieve some of the stress of the unforeseen expenses that have already begun to accumulate.
