Hello Everyone!

    So I auditioned for the Mississippi Lions All-State Band back in November, and it turns out I not only made it, but I am 3rd highest chair in the state! The Mississippi Lions All-State Band is the state's premier honor band. Each year, over hundreds of high schoolers are selected by audition to participate in a week long camp culminating in a concert. Then, the entire band travels to compete in the Parade of Nations at the Lions Club International Convention. To date the Mississippi Lions Band has consecutively won 21 international championships in the past 29 years and boasts a 75 year legacy, which is why this is such an exciting opportunity for me to better my future career in music. I am so excited to be a part of the group that tours all over the planet to compete in these competitions, which is being held in HongKong and Hawaii this year. I'm also excited to be traveling with other outstanding highschool musicians! This also means I will be raising funds to represent Mississippi and Mantachie Highschool this summer!
