Support Daniel Jensrud's Norway Documentary

Hi, my name is Daniel Jensrud. For my final capstone film at SCAD (the Savannah College of Art and Design), I am producing a documentary about my experience living in Norway. This documentary film is a personal reflection on how living in Norway gave me such a strong sense of happiness and contentment, and explores some of why that may be, from urban planning, to community, to simplicity in daily life.

Originally inspired by my 9-month trip in Norway at a folkehøgskole on the west coast which drastically changed my perspective on how people live, this film's goal is to expose more people to the unique Norwegian lifestyle, including how the country prioritizes community and quality of life above all, from “hygge” to urban planning, and specifically, how that personally impacted me as someone who grew up in the US.

My goal with this film is to not only inform but inspire people to think a little differently about the place where they live, work, and spend their time in, by telling my experience living in two different countries.

I am doing this fundraiser to help pay for gear (such as sound, lighting, and grip equipment), production and post-production assets, and miscellaneous production costs such as transportation, etc. to help bring this meaningful film to life. All donations will be put directly into the film's production and all donors will receive special credits at the end of the film.
