On July 15, Kylee McDowell—loving mother, artist, and full-time caregiver—passed away unexpectedly at the age of 60. She leaves behind her son, Daniel Thompson, who lives with advanced multiple sclerosis and now faces an uncertain future without her care and support.
Kylee devoted her life to caring for Daniel. As his primary caregiver, she ensured he had everything he needed—medical support, daily assistance, and above all, love. Her sudden passing has left Daniel without his strongest advocate and in urgent need of support to stay safe and stable.
In the days following her passing, Daniel also had to find a new home for their cherished family cat, Kitty, as he can no longer care for a pet on his own. Though incredibly difficult, it was a thoughtful decision made with Kitty’s best interests at heart.
We are raising funds to help Daniel with:
• End-of-life costs for Kylee, including funeral and memorial expenses
• Immediate and long-term caregiving support
• Accessible housing and living essentials
• Medical and mobility needs
• Legal and logistical costs following Kylee’s passing
Kylee was a creative spirit and a deeply devoted mom. Though she lived simply, she gave generously—with her time, her art, and most of all, her heart. We hope to honor her memory by supporting Daniel through this transition.
Any contribution will make a meaningful difference. If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
