Daniel Godwin is a wonderful husband, son, friend, brother, uncle, and all-around amazing guy who would drop anything in the blink of an eye to help others. He has been a long time dedicated advocate and expert in wildland fire management, a passionate outdoor enthusiast, and a role model as a former Eagle Scout. He has always been the first to offer a hand, a listening ear, or a warm smile to those in need. His kindness and generosity have touched so many lives, and now, he and his family are facing an unimaginable challenge together.

Recently, Daniel received a shattering diagnosis of ALS. This news has changed everything for him and his loved ones. As ALS progresses, there will be many medical needs that arise quickly, including specialized equipment, home modifications, medications, and ongoing care.
