A few weeks ago Dan went in to the ER for what he thought was a painful hernia in his pelvis. After scans Dan was referred to oncology/hematology for biopsy. Dan then received the unexpected results and was diagnosed with a rare form of germ cell cancer. Further tests confirmed along with this tumor, he also has cancer in his abdomen and lungs.
After weeks of praying, researching, multiple CT, MRI and PET scans, function tests, professional medicinal and holistic consultations, his journey to healing and wholeness starts now and with your help we can do this together in peace and prayer.
Dan successfully had port placement on Thursday Aug. 6 and starts a fast moving treatment plan Monday Aug. 17 that will consist of 13 days per month, 6 hrs per day for the remainder of 2020. He may then have to follow chemotherapy with radiation and surgery.
While this is life shifting, we are focused upon the best outcome and confident we are guided to the right team to help him heal cancer.
Dan has always had the brightest light and I hope to see him continue to shine throughout this journey.
Your support is so appreciated. We are certain we will update you with all the best news as our faith continues to grow.
Blessings and thank you,
All our love
