Hello everyone, my name is Abigail. I’m doing this GoFundMe on behalf of my family.

My younger brother, Daniel Edwards, is only 20 years old and was recently diagnosed with cancer. We are still in the process of finding out the exact type, which means he has been undergoing multiple scans, tests, and appointments — all of which have been emotionally overwhelming and extremely expensive. Daniel hasn’t been able to start treatment yet because the doctors need to determine the best course of action, including which type of chemotherapy he’ll need. Unfortunately, the cost of the scans and upcoming treatment is far beyond what my mom can handle on her own. Our family, friends, and community have asked how they can help, so I created this GoFundMe to support Daniel’s medical expenses as he begins this difficult journey. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help lighten the weight on our family and allow Daniel to focus on what matters most — fighting and healing.
