On December 30th, 2025, our lives changed overnight when my 23-year-old brother, Daniel Daher, was admitted to the hospital with what we thought was the flu. In a rare and devastating turn of events, the infection spread to his brain, causing severe inflammation and landing him in critical care, where he has remained ever since. Daniel’s condition is still not fully diagnosed, and while there have been small signs of improvement, he faces a long and uncertain road to recovery. His speech and mobility are significantly impacted, and he needs ongoing intensive medical attention. Every day is a challenge, and progress comes slowly.

The financial burden on our family has been overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward Daniel’s hospital and critical care bills, neurology care and specialist treatment, rehabilitation and long-term therapy, and help cover lost wages during this extended medical crisis.
