It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel Bicensio Wani, who died peacefully at home on December 25, 2025, after a long illness.
Daniel lived an extraordinary and inspiring life. He immigrated to the United States in 1998 and, despite living with a physical disability, never allowed limitations to define him. Daniel believed deeply in progress, perseverance, and education. He worked diligently to complete his degree in Chemistry and a Master’s in Chemical Engineering in the United States. He stood firmly against injustice, built a family, and devoted himself to mentoring and encouraging young people to pursue education, leadership, and service to their communities.
Daniel was a source of strength, wisdom, and hope to many. His life stands as a powerful testimony of resilience and purpose, and his impact will continue to live on through all those he inspired. He is survived by two children and eight siblings.
We are humbly asking for support to help cover funeral expenses. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will make a meaningful difference and is deeply appreciated. A funeral service will be held on January 10, and all family, friends, and community members are warmly invited to attend. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others. We thank you sincerely for your prayers, generosity, and support.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4
May Daniel’s soul rest in eternal peace. Amen.
This fundraiser is organized by Gabriel B. Wani, Daniel’s brother, from Manchester, New Hampshire, on behalf of the family.
