Recently, I was hit with unexpected vet bills when one of my cats, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, suddenly became ill. He is less than two years old. Due to an infection, he suddenly developed respiratory problems that led to a trip to the emergency room for animals. He has to have emergency surgery for either a “lung lobe inversion” or a “lung lobe abscess.” In one day at the ER, I’ve already spent $11,000. This does not include the other $3,000 I spent last week figuring out what was wrong with him.

This issue has put an incredible burden on this cat dad of seven. While he does have insurance, it doesn’t cover everything, and some of my followers have been looking for a way to help.
