Support Dani Hom's Fight Against Cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Tony Guan, and in April of this year, my girlfriend Dani Hom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colorectal Cancer. This news has rocked her entire world and brought immense shock to everyone in her life. Having seen the effects of cancer firsthand, watching Dani endure this ordeal breaks my heart.

Dani is 34 years old and a single mother to her beloved son, Nathan. She is known for her kindness, generosity, and vibrant energy. Dani is a fighter, full of determination to beat this disease. Throughout our time together, I've seen her face life's challenges with unwavering strength and a positive spirit. This diagnosis has been devastating, testing her resilience every day.

Dani has begun her pretreatment, which involves a series of extensive and costly medical procedures, including radiation, chemotherapy, and ongoing medical care. The financial burden is overwhelming, and Dani needs help to access the best possible treatment and care. Compounding her situation, Dani has been diagnosed with a rare gene mutation called POT1, affecting fewer than 100 families. This means Dani faces a lifelong battle of surveillance that consists a lot of MRI scanning, colonoscopy, and future surgeries.
