Support Ken and Dani's Medical Recovery

Dani and Ken rescued a dog with the intention of giving him a loving home with a sibling from the same litter and their other elderly dog. The transition was going amazing, and Baloo made so much progress. However, he ended up having a bad night where he was triggered and attacked Ken. His arms were mauled down to the bone in spots, affecting his muscles, nerves and tendons.

Dani received many puncture wounds, bruises, and stitches to her hand as well, trying to get Baloo to stop attacking Ken.

Unfortunately, Medicaid isn’t an option, and his job doesn’t offer benefits, so insurance isn’t an option. Rehab won’t be an option unless it’s out of pocket, and with another surgery (and most likely more to follow) on top of the rehab, it will be very costly for them both.
