On Friday, July 19, 2024 - Dane Price was involved in an unfortunate, major mountain biking accident.

Dane was camping for Scouts (which he is amazing at!) this past week and was severely injured on this accident. On a downslope, he lost control of his bike and was unable to make a turn on the trail, which led to a fall down a 15-ft. cliff and into a truck-bed in a parking lot.

Dane was airlifted by helicopter to the local hospital where it was found he has suffered the following injuries:

-Broken Jaw

-Broken Right (Dominant) Hand

-Fractured Arm & Wrist

-Broken Ribs

-Broken Back

Thankfully he had head gear on and there are no long term affects on the horizon. However, there is a long journey of healing and recovery ahead.

He's had one surgery already to wire his jaw shut and fix his wrist. He will be in a back brace until his bones heal. He will need another surgery down the road for his hand, where he will need to learn functionality once again.

We are in high-spirits as there is no need for back surgery.

If you know the Price family... they are GOLD! Jeb and Janis Price are our great friends who are God-fearing, Jesus Loving parents to Luke & Dane. If you've had the honor to meet Dane, you know this kid is such a joy to be around. He's humorous, honest, a great friend and the kind of young-man you can trust. He's one of my son's best friends and I'm so grateful for Dane, in our lives, since Kindergarten. Quite frankly... both Price boys will the type of man you'd want for your daughter to marry later in life.

Dane loves his friends, he loves scouting, he loves his family deeply, is so proud of his Country and uplifts you no matter what the situation is you're facing. He's encouraging and comforting to be around.

Dane is an extension of his family and I'm asking for your help. We've had several folks reach out already offering meal trains, support and this would be the best way to have our community rally around The Price Family!

As mentioned before, it's a long road to recovery and whether it paying for medical bills, healthcare, meals, or helping from afar - this would be so greatly appreciated on behalf of my family and friends to gift to The Price Family.
