It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we lost D'Andre Dwayne Cannon on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 due to complications from recovering from a string of a flu virus. This left our entire family and community in deep grief and disbelief.
He was huge workaholic, self-sacrificing individual who worked at Safeway on Del Paso Road for 20 years. D'Andre demonstrated exceptional dedication and loyalty to Safeway throughout his 20-year tenure, marked by an outstanding attendance record, having called out about five times during his employment.
His compassionate nature and remarkable generosity were consistently demonstrated through his acts of kindness and support for those in need.
Not only was he always there for others He had wicked sense of humor, mischievous, always mocking, very playful , and always had jokes or some smart remarks to say that always had you smiling, laughing or getting him back with a comeback.
D'Andre's interests encompassed sports, with a particular affinity for the Dallas Cowboys, Marvel Comics, Pokémon, and video games. During his leisure time, he actively explored new experiences and patronized local businesses, often accompanied by friends.
We humbly request your assistance in offsetting a portion (another $10k needed) of the costs associated with the upcoming funeral and memorial services, which we anticipate holding this week. Any contribution of any kind is deeply and truly appreciated.
Keep D'Andre's family in your prayers and please share this with your family, friends, and anyone you know.
We can't express our sincere gratitude. Thank for your love and support. God Bless!
