Survival is the greatest gift of love. My husband's survival and recovery is truly a love story. On February 20, 2024 my husband, Dana, survived a severe intracranial hemorrhage. Every moment since his stroke we've been fighting our way back to each other. I've learned "The more extreme your circumstances the more likely you are to see God's Power and Glory at work."

Fast forward six months . . . Dana is successfully relearning to speak, walk, and adapt to his new way of life. As his wife of 26 years, my HOPE is to provide Dana the gift of another 6 months of intensive rehabilitation. We've maximized Medicare's limited therapy benefits while simultaneously paying out-of-pocket for daily physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Continuous rehab is necessary, painful, expensive, AND we have proof it is working! We live in the moment, have a grateful heart, and trust in Jesus.
