Hello world! My very best friend is a wonderful person. Dana Mae is a young single mom who is so full of life, her laugh is contagious, and she lives to laugh. She loves more than anyone I've ever met and will do anything she can to help, and it doesn't matter who because she will go above and beyond even for strangers. She has a daughter that has the same personality and is so smart, named Alyah.

Unfortunately, Dana was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma cancer and has fought it with a smile and sense of humor the whole way. She has chemo treatments, which have caused her to lose her hair. She has always dressed and had her hair and makeup perfect every day. She still works when she is able and the chemo doesn't have her feeling so bad that she can't.

I'm asking that if anyone has any means of a donation you could send her, it would mean so much. She won't spend money on the extra things she would need to make her feel herself again, like wigs, lashes, and all other cosmetics, because she isn't able to work as much and her daughter is her world. So any bit she can, she will spend on Alyah, even though since her hair has fallen out, it does keep her home more because of her self-esteem. EVEN THOUGH SHE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL NO MATTER WHAT. Cancer affects so much more than just her body, and she needs healthier food as her diet can only keep certain foods down and not make her feel sick.

She loves doing crafts and things to make her home look good, as well as things her daughter would enjoy since they don't go out to public places as much anymore due to the costs of things and her feeling bad or thinking people look at her oddly because of her hair loss. She has fought this cancer and other things that cause the weight she carries to become really heavy. Please, anything at all helps keep stress off and helps her body to stay strong to fight this evil cancer. Thank you for making life a little lighter for Dana Mae!
