Support Dana & Lisa—Help Eldon Gloor’s Family

Dana and Lisa, beloved daughters of Eldon Gloor, are facing a heartbreaking and overwhelming time. In August 2024, Dana lost her husband, Don, and Lisa, a 16-year survivor of pancreatic cancer, is now struggling with a painful knee injury that has left her unable to travel or even climb stairs. Their father, Eldon, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on March 28th—Lisa's birthday—and his health has been declining rapidly. As if this wasn’t enough, the tenant in Eldon's building left without notice, taking away the only source of income for the family. Dana and Lisa do not live in San Diego, but have come to stay at Eldon's home to care for him in his final days. Now, they are left with mounting bills, no way to pay the mortgage on Eldon's home, and the constant fear of losing the house while trying to provide comfort and care for their father. The stress and worry are immense, but they are doing their best to stay strong for Eldon, their friends, and their family. Eldon Gloor is remembered by so many as a vibrant, joyful presence in the San Diego seniors community—a dancer, traveler, and friend to all. For nearly 40 years, he has brought kindness, laughter, and support to everyone around him. His absence is deeply felt, and now, the family who has given so much to others is in need of help themselves. The funds raised will go directly to keeping the lights and water on, covering essential living expenses, prescription medications, and the mortgage for Eldon's home. Your support will give Dana and Lisa the stability and hope they desperately need during this painful and uncertain time. The Gloor family has always been proud and self-reliant, and asking for help is not easy. Dana and Lisa are humble, prayerful, and deeply grateful for any kindness shown. If you are able, please consider helping them through this unimaginable hardship. Every gesture of support means the world to them, and they thank you from the bottom of their hearts.
