Chris Gerdes, father of 8 and husband to Dana Gerdes, and pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Netawaka, KS, died suddenly Monday morning. His wife, children, friends, and family, are left grieving over such a great loss. Chris was the breadwinner of the family and Dana stays at home with their children. She had the intent to start the accelerated nursing program this month. That will currently be set aside so she can focus on healing for herself and the kids.

We are hoping to raise funds to help them cover costs for the next 6 months-year while the family makes plans for the future.
