My name is Kathy Wilson, and I’m blessed to have the greatest brother in the world, Dan Schuster, 42. Dan is a wonderful son, husband, father, and friend. He and his wife are raising three amazing kids: Lily and Emma (11) and Chris (7).

Dan has battled serious health challenges for years. Sixteen years ago, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), and I was fortunate to be his bone marrow match. The treatment saved his life, but it also took a toll on his body, especially his lungs. Today, Dan is in the hospital receiving a life-saving lung transplant, and he’ll face a long, difficult recovery afterward.

Our family and friends have been incredible in helping with the kids and daily needs, but there are still many expenses: medical bills, groceries, gas for hospital visits, and everything else that comes with caring for a family of five.
