Dan Rowe, age 20 passed away on 8/13/2024. He was a sweet soul that would help anyone. Recently he gave of himself to help someone seriously in need of help. He was funny and very empathic. He loved writing poetry, which we, his survivors hope to have published posthumously. He loved hiking in the mountains of NC and plateaus of NM. He loved looking at the stars and sunsets. He loved the FL springs and the beach. The first time he saw Crescent Beach, he said he was in heaven; I hope he’s there now. He was born as baby boy Altman, then Daniel Rowe-Sherman and of late he settled on Dan Rowe. We need help paying for his final expenses. Emy, his sister, our entire family and I are heartbroken. He was taken too early.

He was a student at Florida School of Massage. He has just purchased clothes and shoes to start his clinical rotation. He was so excited. His death was completely unexpected and tragic.

He believed in conservation of the land. Thought of becoming an urban planner at one time to be able to help humans better use the land. His family plan to lay Dan to rest at the Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery, in a seagrass woven basket in a meadow under a live oak.
