Support Dan Pratte’s Funeral and Medical Costs

On December 29th Dan was admitted to Mercy Hospital with complications from Covid-19. He spent several days receiving treatment and was released to continue his recovery at home. Due to his lack of improvement he was readmitted on January 1st. Every day in the hospital looked different and unfortunately multiple set backs led him to be ventilated on January 11th. Breathing complications, Covid pneumonia, blood clots in his legs, and a pulmonary embolism prevented him from improving. His fight lasted weeks and the staff at Mercy Hospital exhausted every resource to try and save him.

 

On Wednesday January 12th surrounded by his wife, kids, and mother Dan Pratte lost his battle to Covid-19.

 

Dan was the epitome of a family man. He loved being surrounded by his kids and grandkids. He was a lover of soccer and all St Louis sports. Dan loved a good conspiracy theory and enjoyed bantering about the “what if’s.” He truly didn’t know a stranger and would open his heart and home to anyone who needed it.
