Support Dan Kenney's Medical Recovery

As most of the musical community in greater Boston already know, our dear friend and brilliant pianist, producer, and author, Dan Kenney, suffered a sudden medical emergency that has sidelined his career indefinitely. We are all hoping Dan will recover but according to him personally, the road will be long and difficult.

After an amazing career which saw him travel the world as Britney Spears' musical director, Dan returned to Boston where he penned a memoir about his experiences while teaching and performing with the most talented bands, singers, and performers around New England. His latest residency has been at The Beacon Restaurant in Marblehead, Massachusetts where he delighted guests of all ages. Prior to this he spent summers on Cape Cod entertaining in Wellfleet at Bocce Italian Grill. His regular band, Search Party, is one of the most sought after bands in the corporate and wedding band circuit. Dan has always been busy and successful with a very active life style which included caring for his elderly parents.

In a recent text, Dan asked that a gofundme page be started for him as his economic situation is untenable during his sickness. We want to thank everyone who is able to make a donation for Dan. He’s a loving son and brother and a great friend to everyone that knows him. It’s hard to reconcile when such things happen to our friends and loved ones but this is a wonderful way to help a great and talented man who certainly wasn’t expecting such a sudden and catastrophic interruption to his busy life.
