Hello, everyone! We are Dan and Kelsey Mehan and we would love to welcome a baby into our home via adoption.

Dan and I have been married for 8 years, and we have always longed to be parents. We started trying for a baby in 2019 and found that we had some health issues that caused infertility. We struggled through infertility for five long, exhausting years.

Dan brought up the idea of adoption, but I (Kelsey) didn't feel truly called until this year when I had a radical moment with God in church that changed everything. We are thrilled (and slightly terrified) to step out in faith in this journey, and we appreciate you wanting to be a part of it!

Adoption is, in a word, expensive. In many words, it's arduous, comprehensive, intrusive, and scary. This is where you can help!

First and foremost, your thoughts and prayers mean EVERYTHING to us. We are so grateful to have such an amazing community of friends and family supporting us through this process. We love you, and we need you.

Secondly is, unfortunately, the monetary aspect. Adoption is beautiful—but expensive. With legal fees, agency costs, home studies, and travel, expenses can near around $50,000 to adopt a child. Every dollar you prayerfully give helps us fulfill the call God has placed on our hearts to adopt and give a child a loving home.

We are working with Nightlight Christian Adoptions and are excited to see what God has in store for us. If you can't give, that's ok! We know times are tough and your prayers mean the world to us. Another way you can support us is sharing our fundraiser and our story with your friends and family!
