When I heard that Dan was experiencing stage 5 kidney failure and was on dialysis, I asked what could be done to help him. I was told he needed a kidney transplant. His kidney function had dropped to 16% last June. His doctor said he was required to be hooked up to a dialysis machine 8 hours every day in order to survive. As of Aug 2024, he has been on the transplant registry in hopes of receiving a functioning kidney.
Having to rely on the machine daily to help his body function properly and give him strength limited what he has been able to do. He works part-time handyman jobs as they came up, and his church hired him as a part time youth pastor. However, matters were complicated recently playing a game at a winter youth retreat, and he tore his meniscus in his knee making it nearly impossible to walk. He has surgery schedule Feb 14th for his knee which will require 4-6 weeks recovery.
With medical bills and other expenses adding up, it would be a tremendous blessing to help him and his family during this time. He now has a living donor willing to donate their kodney for Dan. Will you to bless this family by donating $10, $20, $50, or more??? Any amount you can give will help! It will be much appreciated! Please share this with others that also would like to help.
