Support Dan & Family
Donation protected
On May 20, 2025, Dan suffered a sudden and severe medical emergency. What started as a cold virus led to cardiac arrest and significant trauma to his brain. Dan remains in a coma, ventilated in the ICU.
Dan is a devoted husband, a loving dad, and a friend to many. In March, he and his wife celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary — a milestone that speaks to the strength of their bond and the life they’ve built together. Dan is the kind of person who genuinely loves meeting new people and always shows up for others —whether that’s lending a hand, throwing a good BBQ, or supporting his kids. He’s the first to offer help. If you’ve ever stood in line at a grocery store and left with a new friend, chances are you met Dan. He has a gift for connecting with people and a heart that thrives on giving.
Dan's recovery is expected to be significant and long. This journey will be measured in months, not weeks—and the road ahead will be challenging. That’s why we’ve created this GoFundMe: to support Dan and his family by assisting with costs associated with his extended care. Unused funds will also be given back to the incredible first responders who have supported Dan since day one. Every donation, regardless of its size, is deeply appreciated and will make a meaningful difference in Dan's recovery journey and provide emotional support to his family during this challenging time.
The family is accepting all means of support — whether it’s a donation, a share of this page, or simply a prayer. All forms of love are welcome, and prayers from any faith are deeply appreciated.
This campaign has been created with heartfelt thanks from Dan’s family. Every donation, no matter the size, will help support Dan and his family through this long path to recovery.
