On the evening of April 17th, our beloved family member and friend, Dan Bull, was involved in a devastating hit-and-run accident that has left him fighting for his life. While walking his 11-year-old dog for their nightly walk on Payne Ave in North Tonawanda, a car veered off the road, jumped the curb, and struck Dan while he was on the sidewalk. The car sped off, leaving Dan badly injured and in need of immediate medical care.

The moments after the accident were nothing short of heart-wrenching. While Dan lay seriously injured, his loyal dog Ollie stayed by his side, waiting for help to arrive. After the firemen came, Ollie ran a little over 1/3 of a mile home and scratched at the backdoor until Dan’s wife, Barbara, answered. Concerned, Barbara asked where Dan was, and Ollie led her straight to the scene. Ollie’s love and loyalty are a testament to the bond he and Dan share. Ollie misses his daddy dearly.
