Daniel "Big Tasty" Beveridge is a husband, father to 2 young children, and a Naval Aviator. In July 2024, after completing his F-35C transition and coming home from a deployment with VFA-147, he was diagnosed with grade IV brain cancer. He did amazing for 11 months with nearly 0 deficits. That all changed in June of '25 when the cancer returned to a new area of his brain. His second craniotomy left him with global aphasia, which was quickly followed by seizures caused by brain swelling.

For the last 4 months, he has fought so hard to rehabilitate, but each seizure left him with more and more deficits. All the while, the cancer stopped responding to treatment and continues to spread. Now, we’re out of treatment options and he is starting hospice.

This fundraiser is to provide what we can to Dan and his family as we say goodbye to a beloved husband, father, friend, and fighter pilot.

It is with a heavy heart that we share that Dan passed on the morning of December 8th surrounded by loved ones. Thank you everyone for your support - it means so much to his family to see how much of a positive impact Dan made on all those he met.
