Support Dan Bell's Recovery from Severe Burns
Donation protected

In the early morning hours of Friday, October 11th, Dan Bell's home was engulfed in flames. As an experienced firefighter and Heli-Rappeller Dan felt he could contain the fire while he waited for the local fire team to arrive. In the process he received 2nd and 3rd degree burns over much of his body. Due to the severity of his injuries, Dan was airlifted from his home in Idaho to a burn unit in Seattle where he is currently undergoing numerous surgeries, skin graphs and intense rehabilitation. Dan’s home is a total loss. Besides losing his beloved cat Batman, he lost all the precious memories from the life he had shared with his wife who passed several years ago after a battle with cancer.
Dan also worked for the Bureau of Land Management, the Parks Service in Yosemite National Park and was a firefighter in Kootenai County Idaho for 11 years. Prior to his career as a firefighter, Dan was a movie stunt man and endured many broken bones, burns and injuries but this is going to be his biggest challenge ever. Dan has an amazing group of people who surround and support him and are trying to help in this devastating situation. This man would help anyone who needed it and has dedicated years of his life serving people through his firefighting career. We are hoping that now we can help him out by donating whatever you can, to help with the numerous medical, transportation and rehabilitation costs that will not be covered by insurance. We know that God was watching over Dan, and we would appreciate if you would lift him up in prayer that he may recover and to see God’s love manifested through the generosity and kindness of others. Thank you and may God bless you and your families.
