Hi everyone,

We are starting this GoFundMe to support Dan and Alex during an incredibly difficult and overwhelming time.

Over the past few months, Dan has been in and out of the hospital trying to find answers to what was happening to his health. After multiple hospital visits, he was finally admitted to the ICU in Denver, where doctors were at last able to give him a diagnosis. While having a diagnosis brings some clarity, the journey to get there has been long, frightening, and exhausting.

Because of his condition and repeated hospital stays, Dan has been unable to work for months. During this time, medical bills and everyday living expenses have continued to pile up. On top of everything else , they were forced to move during this crisis, adding even more financial and emotional stress at a time when they were already stretched beyond their limits. Alex has been doing everything possible to keep things going, but the financial and emotional weight of this situation has become overwhelming.

We are raising funds to help cover medical expenses, rent, utilities, and basic necessities while Dan focuses on his recovery and Alex continues to care for him. No one should have to worry about keeping the lights on or paying rent while fighting for their health.

Any amount — big or small — will make a meaningful difference and help take some of this burden off their shoulders. If you are unable to donate but would like come and show support to these amazing people, we are having a fundraiser with a silent auction and live music from Tina Ferguson at Rocky Mountain Underground in Breckenridge on January 28th from 6-9. Come show love and support for these two magical selfless humans!!!
