On the evening of Saturday, May 2, 2026, Damon was involved in a single vehicle motorcycle crash. Thanks to wearing his safety gear, he survived, but he sustained very serious and life-threatening injuries. His injuries include a grade 5 lacerated liver, lacerated kidneys, broken ribs, broken hip, and bruised lungs.
Damon is currently in the intensive care unit at Medical Center of the Rockies, facing a long road to recovery. Unfortunately, Damon does not have health insurance at this time due to financial reasons. The severity of his injuries means he will need at least six months of recovery, including physical therapy and ongoing medical care. The first 72 hours are critical for his survival, and his family is staying by his bedside, unable to leave during this difficult time. The funds raised through GoFundMe will be used to cover Damon's medical bills, therapy, and daily expenses. His family is also affected, as they are supporting him every step of the way.
At just 22 years old, Damon is a great young man who was starting his own landscaping and lawn service last year, and was just about to get that underway again. Due to the severity of his injuries, he will not be able to restart his business in the near future. Any assistance you can give would be so greatly appreciated. Your support will help Damon and his family through this incredibly challenging time and give him hope for a brighter future.
