My name is Jessica and on the morning of Wednesday, May 28th, my son Damien was hit by a car on S. College Rd. here in Wilmington, NC.

He was rushed to the hospital unconscious with a brain bleed, broken right hip, and multiple fractures of the right leg. He has extensive bruising and contusions but by the Grace of God, he is alive and recovering each day.

He has a while of recovery and rehabilitation, including multiple PT visits once he is well enough to leave the hospital.
