Hi there! I’m Damien, you might know me as DJ. I’ve unfortunately been terrified of the dentist all my life and have avoided going as a result. I’ve finally managed to get a handle on my dental anxiety and have gone in for my first check up in almost 10 years. And while things are healthy for the most part, I need about 14 fillings. Even with dental insurance, the cost comes to something to the tune of $4000.

We’ll be taking it slow and getting the fillings in sections, with my front teeth coming first. I’m looking to raise money to help cover just this portion. My other teeth are less urgent, and I feel I’ll be able to afford to fix them with more time to save. My front teeth however are rather urgent and have started to cause me discomfort. I have been able to start a payment plan so I can start my treatment ASAP, which is great, but the payment plan came with a huge APR. I would be looking to pay almost $600 additional in interest alone.

I have a very hard time asking for help and I’m pretty embarrassed, but…Here we are.
