Support Damen Griffith's Recovery Journey

I am writing this on behalf of my youngest brother Damen Griffith.

He had been having severe lower back pain for several days, but as the sole provider for his family, he continued to go to work.

Deanna was able to finally convince him to go to the ER. Initial tests revealed he needed an emergent appendectomy. Once the doctors were in there, they realized a vein in his liver had burst and he had been bleeding internally for some time. The bleeding was stopped, appendix removed, and he was discharged from the hospital on August 1st. Damen has an appointment next week to remove around 20 staples from his stomach and get results from tests that were done on his liver.

He is out a minimum of 6-8 weeks from work, if not more. As the sole provider for the family, this puts them in a serious financial bind. Those who know Damen know that he would give the shirt off his back to anyone, and his last dollar to his buddy if they needed it. Now he could use a little help from the people who know and love him until he can get back on his feet. Anything is appreciated, thank you!
