My Uncle Ernie (Ernest W. Wilson, Jr.), known to many as Beaver, passed away in a tragic car accident on Friday, June 20th. He left behind his wife Damaris North, as well as his two siblings, mother, and granddaughter.

Ernie's sudden passing leaves challenges for the family to pay for his burial and their immediate living expenses. Ernie has been a loving, dedicated husband - working long hours as the sole provider while taking care of his wife Damaris amid her health issues. Damaris needs a lung transplant this winter and has been on a constant supply of oxygen - requiring regular daily assistance at home.

Ernie was working hard to take extended time off this winter to care for Damaris after her lung transplant - and to later buy a house for the two of them. He passed while hauling construction materials to one of his job sites.

Now, Damaris is faced with paying for Ernie's funeral expenses (totaling $3,500) and her immediate living expenses, while still navigating her health issues without her husband by her side.

We are collecting donations to help pay for Ernie's funeral expenses and to assist Damaris in covering living/medical expenses during this transition. Any donation helps support Damaris through this tragic loss.
