Support Dalton's Recovery and Family

This is Dalton Nipper.

Saturday evening, Dalton was in a really bad bike accident. He's in ICU at UK currently with multiple injuries. He has a couple head fractures and a brain bleed. I'm begging everyone who reads this to please pray for him. Please.

I have been overwhelmed with messages, and I haven't had the mental ability to open or respond to them all. First - thank you all SO much for the prayers and offers to help with the kiddos. I'll be reaching out to a couple people this week regarding that. It means so much to us.

As for Dalton - all I can think to say is wow...God has been so good to us. I thought leaving my twins in the nicu each night was the hardest thing I would ever face in this life. Turns out, leaving my husband alone in the ICU at night is much worse. I can't put words to how scary and absolutely gut wrenching the last 2 days have been.

But once again, God has proven to be Jehovah Rapha and Jehovah Jireh. I'm in awe of His goodness. Today, Dalton has woken and talked to me several times. And he is asking me detailed things about his job, kids, etc. He's coming back to me .

The medical staff have said it's a waiting game right now for his brain to heal, but they expect a full recovery. He has several broken ribs front and back, a broken clavicle and shoulder blade. He also has a chest tube from a punctured lung...so he is in a tremendous amount of pain. But he is alive, and once again, I have a reason to praise the God who has sustained us through so, so much
