Support Dalton and Family After Mary's Passing

Donation protected
My name is Melissa and I would like to raise funds to mainly help with final expenses. To help Dalton with current expenses as he and Mary were in the process of having to move. And also to help with future expenses as he learns to live without his soulmate and navigate life as a single father.

As many of you know, Mary suffered from chronic asthma and COPD. She experienced a series of unfortunate events while shopping for groceries. She went into respiratory arrest, then cardiac arrest, and lacked oxygen for approximately 6-10 minutes. Dalton performed CPR until paramedics arrived and took over. While in their care, she coded 3 times. She spent 5 days in the hospital, and on Thursday, the 23rd, the Ethics Committee declared that she had passed, suffering from a catastrophic brain injury.

Mary was surrounded by a lot of people on Friday when she had the privilege of having her very own Honor Walk because she was an organ donor. As her mother, it was heartwarming seeing all who had shown up for her and messages from those who couldn't be there.

The words that were shared to describe Mary were kind, caring, generous, and helpful. Mary was the go-to person for anyone who needed a listening ear. Her kind words and words of wisdom helped many of us get through some pretty difficult times. She had started taking courses to become a counselor, but in my opinion, she was a natural.

She loved her family deeply and was always so selfless, making an effort to be there for us no matter what.

She loved her work buddies, always sharing stories about them. And it was very evident they felt the same for her.

She loved her children Emilee, Anthony, Nevaeh, Bella Rose, and stepdaughter Haedyn. What really lit her heart up, though, was her grandbaby Waylon James. It's what she talked about most, and her favorite thing was FaceTime with Emilee for as many opportunities to see him.

Your thoughts and prayers are needed at this very difficult time. Please feel free to share your favorite memories.
A celebration of life is currently being planned for July. We will provide when we have it figured out.
Thank you in advance for generosity and support.
Sincerely, The Becker/Chavez Family
