My name is Dalia Nuncio, and in February 2026, my life changed in ways I never expected. I was diagnosed with Stage IIA breast cancer. After meeting with my doctors, I learned I would need a bilateral mastectomy. Shortly after, we discovered the cancer had spread to my lymph nodes, which meant I would first need to undergo chemotherapy. Yesterday, I began my first treatment. I will continue chemotherapy for the next 6–7 months as I fight this disease with everything I have.
I am incredibly grateful to have a loving and supportive partner who has stood by my side through every appointment, every difficult conversation, and now every treatment. Together, we are doing our best to stay strong for our children and keep life as stable as possible for them during this time. However, the financial burden that comes with cancer treatment is overwhelming. Between medical bills, time away from work, transportation to treatments, and everyday living expenses, it has become more than we can manage on our own.
I am asking for help to ease some of this financial stress so I can focus on what matters most—healing, being present for my family, and getting through the months ahead of treatment. Any contribution, no matter the amount, would mean more than I can express. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page would also help us tremendously. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for your support during one of the most difficult times in our lives.
