My mom, Dalhia Villarreal, is truly one of the most selfless and loving people you could ever meet. She has always been the kind of person who shows up for everyone, no matter what. She gives without expecting anything in return, loves unconditionally, and has a way of making people feel safe, supported, and cared for. She is the heart of our family, the one who holds us together, and the person so many people turn to in their hardest moments.

She has always been strong, but more than anything, she is incredibly kind. Even when life has been difficult, she continues to put others first. That’s just who she is. Anyone who knows her knows how special she is, her warmth, her resilience, and her ability to bring light into even the darkest moments.

Recently, our lives changed in ways we never expected. My mom was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, and despite going through months of aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, and ongoing immunotherapy, the cancer has now spread to her brain.

She is currently facing serious and complex medical complications, including multiple brain lesions and fluid buildup in her brain (hydrocephalus), which has caused severe headaches, nausea, and significant weakness. She has been in and out of the hospital, undergoing procedures and treatment after treatment, while also battling infections and the physical toll that all of this has taken on her body.

Despite everything, she continues to fight with so much strength.

Right now, she is very weak and requires a high level of care. Our family is doing everything we can to be by her side, support her, and make sure she feels loved every single day, but the emotional and financial burden has become overwhelming.

We are asking for help to cover the cost of her medical care, hospital stays, treatments, and the ongoing support she needs during this incredibly difficult time. This will allow us to focus on what truly matters: being present for her, caring for her, and making sure she is never alone in this fight.
