Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Clayton (Dale) Harness, a cherished member of IUE-CWA Local 81303, on May 23rd, 2025. Dale was a hardworking, kind, and compassionate man whose life touched so many. His passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
Dale endured an incredible series of health challenges with courage and determination. Despite multiple surgeries, including one for a heart condition and another for major internal bleeding, his health took a critical turn after a blood clot severely damaged his small intestine. He fought valiantly, but his body could no longer withstand the toll.
Dale’s passing is a profound loss to his family, who are now not only grappling with their grief but also facing significant financial challenges. His wife, Vickie, has been by his side throughout this ordeal, and both Dale’s and Vickie’s incomes have been lost during these difficult months.
Dale and Vickie were known for their selflessness and compassion. After raising their own children, they opened their hearts and home to adopt three siblings, ensuring they could remain together as a family. Dale’s dedication to his family and community was unwavering, and his legacy is one of love, strength, and generosity.
We are asking for your support during this heartbreaking time. Your donations will help the family with medical bills, funeral expenses, and basic living costs as they navigate this new reality. No contribution is too small, and every bit of support is deeply appreciated.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this page and holding Dale’s family in your thoughts and prayers.
Dale was a man who gave so much of himself to others. Now it is our turn to honor his memory by supporting the family he held so dear.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and compassion
