Dakota has always been the kind of person who steps up for others. Whether it’s helping a neighbor move, lending a hand to a friend in need, or simply offering a listening ear, he’s the first to show up and the last to leave. That’s why it’s so hard to see him facing such a tough time right now.

Recently, Dakota was taken off work due to serious tendon issues in his legs, which required surgery. His job couldn’t accommodate his medical needs, so he was put on leave. Just weeks into his recovery, things took a turn for the worse—he was in a car accident caused by another driver who fled the scene. Dakota’s vehicle was totaled, and he suffered even more injuries, including a rod being placed in his leg. To make matters worse, his claim for leave was denied for reasons that haven’t been explained, leaving him without any resources to pay for his housing or basic needs.

Right now, Dakota needs help to cover rent, bills, and daily expenses while he recovers from surgery and the accident. He’s always been there for others, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
