Hello,

We are fundraising for our 9-year-old daughter, Dakota. We are super proud to share that she has been nominated to attend a very exclusive summer educational camp: National Youth Leadership Forum: Pathways to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine) in LA or Berkeley. Dakota was singled out as the nomination by her school as recognition for her "exceptional maturity, scholastic merit, and leadership potential."

The program is a one-week program that will allow Dakota to learn and develop 5 identified skills to success, including emotional awareness, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and goal setting. In addition, she will be given the opportunity to practice medical techniques and explore careers in medicine, engineering, and crime scene investigation.

To say we are proud is an understatement. A little bit about Dakota... she is very serious about her academics. It doesn't surprise us that she was selected for an academic program. Dakota is also very quiet and would benefit from all the leadership and life skill classes taught at Pathways to STEM.

Dakota is excited to be given the opportunity, and any donations will directly support this experience. The tuition for this program is $3250, excluding travel costs.
