Support Dakota and Alex's Family After Fire
Donation protected
Late on July 6th, my daughter Dakota Heiser and her husband, Alex, experienced a devastating house fire that started in the garage or crawlspace. While the fire began outside the main living space, it spread into the kitchen, bathroom, and one of the bedrooms—filling the rest of the home with intense heat and heavy smoke. The damage throughout the house is severe.
Dakota and Alex are parents to four wonderful children—Addysen, Aston, Arden, and Aspen (who we lovingly call Linda). Thankfully, the entire family made it out safely, including their two dogs, Archie and Daisy. For that, we are incredibly grateful.
Right now, they are displaced and trying to care for their four children without a livable home. Most of their belongings have been damaged or destroyed, and while they are waiting for insurance to step in, the process can take time—and their needs are immediate.
We’re hoping to raise $7,500 to help cover temporary housing, clothing for the kids, food, pet care, and basic essentials while they work to rebuild. This will allow them to stay together, stable, and safe in the days and weeks ahead.
Any amount helps, and even if you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this campaign. Your support—whether through donations, shares, or kind words—means the world to this family right now.
Thank you for surrounding them with love and hope during this incredibly hard time.
